Up until May 2023 Indonesia had zero Nickel Sulfate refining capability. Now on a year, Indonesia is the largest exporter of NiSO4 to China. Harita’s nickel sulfate plant is the primary reason, located in Obi Island has a annual capacity of 240,000 tons.
